Kunstarkaden

Kunstarkaden is a forum for artistic experimentation and a platform for contemporary art. As a place for dialogically conceived projects, group exhibitions promote artists from different cultural backgrounds living in Munich who are still at the beginning of their creative careers. The works are presented and experienced in interaction with the spatial conditions.

The Kunstarkaden are not a classic gallery in the conventional sense, not a "white cube". The interaction with the architecture plays an important role here; it is an environment in which the works of art can and should enter into a dialog with their surroundings. The vision of the Kunstarkaden is to be a platform for young contemporary art that invites artistic experimentation, away from strict guidelines and directives.
