In the industrial-aesthetic west of Leipzig, characterized by the reign of the well-known entrepreneur Karl Heine, the youthful-modern Kunstkraftwerk is located between the @Spinnerei, the @Westwerk and the Tapetenwerk.

The former combined heat and power plant, which provided the power supply for the LVB streetcars from 1964 to 1992, has been offering a range of immersive experiences since 2015; impressive art installations, 360-degree projections by well-known artists from the Renaissance to the modern era offer a completely new opportunity for young and old to actively engage with and rediscover unique works of world history.

But not only art can shine on the charming walls; the Kunstkraftwerk also offers space for international exhibitions, corporate events, concerts, readings and symposia.
