Welcome to Reformator!

We offer ceramics and more. At Reformator, we provide you with not only practical but also intellectual access to art and art history. In the future, REFORMATOR will host lectures, artist talks, and discussions on various topics related to art and culture.

Reformator is an independent off-space with 370 square meters of floor space in the center of Düsseldorf, which I founded to offer artists an alternative platform. Here, works can be presented free from the constraints of commercial or institutional requirements. Reformator is a place for exchange and encounter, where art is not only displayed but also actively discussed.

Whether you’re just starting out in the world of pottery or already have experience—you’ll find the right space here to bring your ideas to life with clay. At our studio in Düsseldorf, you can try your hand at wheel-throwing and create amazing pieces at the table using build-up clay, work on your own projects, paint ceramics, or draw inspiration from our creative community. We offer beginner courses for newcomers, while advanced students and professionals have the opportunity to work independently and continue developing their skills.
