LutherLAB

The LutherLAB: experimental space for encounters, education and sustainability in the east of Bochum.

We offer space for cultural and scientific events in the Luther Church, which was deconsecrated in 2012. The supporting association LutherLAB e.V. aims to connect people, promote the social, ecological and economic development of the Langendreer district and preserve the Lutherkirche as a listed building.

Regular activities to get creative and join in are the free organ playing, the gardening club, the children's clothes swap, the LuLa brush friends, the sewing café and the SpieLABend. Outside the entrance to the LutherLAB there is a fair divider as a transfer point for food (food sharing), which is freely accessible 24/7. In the entrance area inside there is a public bookcase, which is accessible when LutherLAB is open.
