In the heart of Mannheim: here on Paradeplatz, the Mannheim Academy for Social Professions has created a place where living and learning go hand in hand. Founded in 1978, we are now one of the largest training and further education institutions in the Rhine-Neckar region. Over 900 students are currently embarking on their path to the future with us, accompanied and guided by around 100 teachers.

The Mannheim Academy for Social Professions is supported by the German Red Cross District Association Mannheim e. V. and is recognized by the state. We share the ideals of the German Red Cross and are open to people of all cultures, ages and backgrounds.

The alliance is a platform on which the alliance partners join forces with the aim of promoting respectful coexistence in diversity and campaigning against various forms of disparagement and discrimination. The Mannheim Declaration expresses the common values of the alliance partners for successful coexistence in our diverse city.
