The Mittendrin is an open museum workshop with model making, theater installation and a varied program of events. The Munich City Museum is a guest in the former cattle yard and invites people in the surrounding neighborhoods to discover, tell, collect and present history together. It is cooperating with the theater company "El Solar", with the "ichbaumit" project by architecture mediator Enrica Ferrucci, and above all with the residents of Isarvorstadt and Sendling.

The project team wants to rediscover Munich's urban history, discuss it with Munich residents and also take a critical look at the museum's collections. To this end, it is moving to Zenettistraße 11 in the former cattle yard for a month and cordially invites all interested parties to participate or simply come and visit.
