Ahoy Bremen!

After five years in the lowlands of Lower Saxony - more precisely in the harbor of the royal seat of Celle - we want to continue our success story on the Weser. Our culture ship simply longs for flowing waters....
As an event location, the MS Loretta is now moored at the Schlachte, jetty 4a.
On board the 30-meter ship, there is room for all kinds of things - from lots of music to literature, theater, art and celebrations.
"Against the current and beyond the mainstream" is the motto of the ship owner & crew! That's why the program is sometimes a little rougher, darker, edgier - but certainly never boring! So you'll be looking for cover versions and evenings of "swaying along" on board almost in vain.
The fact that the bar is called "Will to Sink" after a Nietzsche quote is of course "sailor's yarn" And don't worry: it's not always "dark" - there's also room for softer tones in our repertoire.
The current program can be found - as soon as Corona allows it - under "Luke and Lookout".

The ship:
Built as a cargo ship, the MS has had an eventful history until it was converted into a cultural ship on the Aller in Celle and finally on the Weser. You can read more about her journey from Kiel via Celle to Bremen and about the history of the Lady, built in 1913, in the logbook.

We are a private cultural project, made by people who are dedicated to culture and creativity and want to share this with others. We welcome suggestions and collaborations! The shipowner and crew like to sail close to the wind. How good that the MS Loretta is a motor ship!
