The hyphen in the name gives it away: Allach-Untermenzing unites opposites. On one side is the large-scale Allach industrial area, on the other the tranquillity of Untermenzing. The Allach-Untermenzing municipal library is located almost exactly in the middle of the district: the cultural and media center for all citizens in the neighborhood and at the same time the school library for the school center on Pfarrer-Grimm-Straße.
