Pretty Portal is a gallery for urban contemporary art in Düsseldorf and has been dealing with international positions in urban art, street art and contemporary art for over 18 years.

The gallery works with artists who have decisively shaped and further developed this still young art movement in recent years. The program ranges between urban art, contemporary art, graffiti, illustration, urban culture and experimental forms of contemporary art.

Pretty Portal shows paintings, drawings, installations, sculptures and editions by international artists and understands urban art as a contemporary visual language that reflects social, urban and cultural developments.

In addition to exhibitions in the gallery, the public space also plays an important role. Many of the artists represented work both in the classic exhibition context and directly in urban environments, where they develop wall works, interventions and site-specific projects.

Over the years, Pretty Portal has presented numerous international artists from the urban art scene and has accompanied the development of this art form between subculture, gallery, art market and public space.
