The Rathausgalerie in the inner courtyard of Munich City Hall is a very special art venue: inspiring and unusual exhibitions of contemporary art are shown in the 750 square meter former ticket hall from March to November, offering insights into the Munich art scene and creating links between artistic projects, artists and visitors. Art can be experienced individually in free guided tours, workshops, performance projects and in encounters and discussions with artists and curators.

The Rathausgalerie is centrally located in Munich's town hall on Marienplatz. At 750 square meters, the historic hall from 1905 is one of the largest and most visited art venues in the city. The City of Munich's Department of Culture is responsible for the curated program.
