The Sammlung Goetz has a new exhibition space for interim use in Pacellistraße in the heart of Munich. It is a room with floor-to-ceiling windows in the row of stores in Sep Ruf's Neue Maxburg. The new location is intended to function as a shop window through which the Goetz Collection will remain visible even during the closure of the main store in Oberföhring. The name "shop window" refers both to the location of the new exhibition space and to the curatorial concept that has been developed for it. It provides for the presentation of important artistic positions from the Goetz Collection in curated temporary exhibitions.

How to get there

• Take the subway U4 or U5 to Karlsplatz (Stachus), exit P; from there it is a 2-3 minute walk to Pacellistraße 5.
• By S-Bahn (lines S1-S8) also to Karlsplatz (Stachus): approx. 8 minutes on foot.
• Take streetcar line 19 to the Lenbachplatz stop; from there about 2-3 minutes on foot.

Reduced admission
Senior citizens over the age of 65, persons up to the age of 25, severely disabled persons (the registered accompanying person has Free admission), helpers of the Voluntary Social Year and the Voluntary Ecological Year, volunteers doing military service and federal volunteers, on presentation of the appropriate proof, on request an official photo ID must be presented for identification.

Free admission
Children and young people up to the age of 18, all pupils over the age of 18 (with the exception of evening secondary schools, evening grammar schools, colleges, telecolleges and language schools). A valid ID card or (for groups) a letter from the school is valid as proof. Students of art, art history, art studies and art education (a valid university or college ID is valid as proof), teachers in the context of teaching events with the pupils or students they supervise, registered accompanying persons of severely disabled visitors, journalists with a current press card, members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), the German Museums Association and persons with an annual pass for the National Museums and Collections. The relevant proof must be presented; an official photo ID is required for identification purposes on request.

Accessibility
Access to the exhibition space is barrier-free. A barrier-free toilet is located on the opposite side of the courtyard. Please contact our staff on site - we will be happy to help you.
