The SCHIRN KUNSTHALLE FRANKFURT is one of the most prestigious and high-profile exhibition venues in Europe. Opened in 1986, more than 270 exhibitions have been presented on around 2000 m² and seen by more than 10 million visitors. The SCHIRN focuses on art and cultural-historical themes, discourses and trends from the perspective of the immediate present. Its program is diverse, international and progressive, attempting to open up new perspectives and break up traditional patterns of reception. The exhibitions are equally dedicated to contemporary art positions and modern art.
