Schüttinger is not for sourpusses or sad dumplings. The long wooden tables are a convivial place to sit and drink the tasty, top-fermented Schüttinger. The home-brewed barley juice tastes like more and so the first glass is rarely enough. No wonder the Schüttinger is so popular with everyone.

People like to sit together on the long benches. And if you don't know each other yet, you quickly get to know each other. The old Bremen tradition of home brewing has been revived by the Schüttinger Gasthausbrauerei since 1990. It is the oldest pub brewery in the Hanseatic city of Bremen and produces the only real Bremen beer.

The tasty beer is produced before your eyes and still contains all the vitamins and nutrients of the yeast, so that you have the opportunity to enjoy the Schüttinger as the master brewer knows it from his cool storage cellar.
