Directors like Lars von Trier and Peter Brook inspired owner Walid El Sheikh to create a dramatic setting. 434 square meters of space, spread over several levels and bordered by midnight-blue curtains, plus a 30-meter-long bar - it's a setting that almost obliges. And then there's the location: with a view of the Kunsthalle, the renowned Hans Mayer Gallery and the Deutsche Oper. It has already happened that part of the opera house orchestra came over for a live performance via Heinrich-Heine-Allee.
