The park is much appreciated by the residents, who meet to play boules or table tennis or just for a chat. The beautiful old trees provide shade, and those who prefer the sun can use the large meadows. Magnificent old lime trees line the paths, in the meadows you can find beautiful coniferous groups. The park is characterized by its varied landscaping, rolling hills, hollows, avenues and curved paths alternate. When it snows in winter, a rather rare occurrence in Düsseldorf, the slopes of the park are enthusiastically used by children for tobogganing.
