For over 75 years, the diaconal institution has been offering children, young people and adults competent help, trusting attention and individual support. Founded in 1947 on a former barracks site in Lesum, the institution has developed a wide range of services over the years that is unique in this form in northern Germany. With around 1,300 employees, the provider of social-diaconal services is one of the largest employers in the north of Bremen.
