"YES, and exactly right. The restaurant is called Tandour, but the Arabic brand is unmistakable," explains the owner of the "cult restaurant Tandour's", Murugathas Karalasingam, known as "Muru!" among the regulars.

When asked who his customers are, the owner's answer is very intercultural!

"The math teacher meets his students here by chance while eating kebabs; the bank manager meets his customers while ordering a casserole.

Or the ex-boyfriend meets his ex-girlfriend while ordering blinds. And even the professional footballer meets his fans. And, of course, we're usually the last stop for disco-goers."

He cites a number of reasons for his success:

"It's not just the huge selection of rollos, casseroles, pizzas, sauces, drinks, salads and other changing dishes of our success. Our employees are the be-all and end-all of our success!" The owner of the restaurant emphasizes very proudly. Not everywhere will Chef train the staff himself, as is the case at Tandour.

"Every menu that goes over the counter should be served as if it came "from the chef's hand"! That's why every employee is personally trained by me and everyone is a building block for the success of the business," continued the owner!

The owner has been continuing this tradition for more than 25 years, delighting his customers with traditional Bremen rollo snack dishes with increasingly innovative sauces that are only known in Tandour. Or is also known in Tandour as Arabic!
