The hall

The Theatersaal is located at the heart of the University of Bremen campus by the Mensa Lake. It provides a worthy setting for the Bösendorfer grand piano, the purchase of which was made possible by a significant donation from Mariann Steegmann.

Originally built as a theater hall, it is now also available for cultural events of all kinds. It offers 153 seats in nine rows of seventeen seats each; the semi-circular stage can accommodate a rectangle of 10 x 3m or 8 x 4m.
