Weseler Werft

Weseler Werft, located directly on the river, offers a fantastic view of the European Central Bank tower and comprises a 2.1-hectare park with young trees, a playground and extensive meadows. A listed harbor crane and the old tracks of the harbor railroad are reminders of the historical use of the area. Due to the regular flooding by the Main, some areas have been paved with cobblestones. The "Sommerwerft" cultural festival has been held here in summer since 2002. The "Oskar" lizard biotope, which is home to rare fence and wall lizards, is also located directly on the rafter bridge - a peaceful place, especially on sunny days.
