ZERO foundation

In the late 1950s and early 1960s, the international artist movement ZERO was formed around the Düsseldorf artists Heinz Mack, Otto Piene and Günther Uecker. With its new formal and visual language, ZERO revolutionized the art scene of the time. In 2008, Heinz Mack, Otto Piene and Günther Uecker founded the ZERO foundation together with the Kunstpalast to preserve, present, research and promote the art of the ZERO movement. The artists contributed archival materials from the ZERO period as well as artworks to the foundation. The state capital of Düsseldorf supports the foundation's current budget.

Bei Ausstellungen ist das ZERO-Haus samstags von 12:30 bis 17:30 Uhr geöffnet.

Ansonsten gilt: Besuche gerne nach Vereinbarung auch in der ausstellungsfreien Zeit.
