Imagine a land where the clouds are made of cotton candy and it rains glitter. Sometimes it's purple glitter, in a gray mystical sky that shines in all shades of gold, sometimes it's pink fluffy hearts that sway in the breeze and land peacefully and gently on the nose of a unicorn, only to spontaneously fizzle out shortly afterwards. This is the country where Anna Venture is at home.

My first great love was Oriental dance. The closeness to the audience, the litter and viscosity of the movements, as well as fast drum pieces that you can playfully improvise to, appealed to me. I performed belly dance shows for ten years and in 2014 I discovered my love for the art of burlesque. My shows today are inspired by classic divas and playful swing girls as much as they are by modern pop culture.
