The Autorenforum Berlin e. V. sees itself as a kind of flow heater and offers a collegial exchange of ideas. For 40 years now, many a literary career has been launched here. Many authors who have made the leap into the literary or media business are still associated with the Autorenforum today. Over the years, a lasting network has formed.

We offer inexperienced authors a first step into the public eye and beyond:

• Collegial encouragement and solidarity with technical writing problems
• Improve the ability to self-criticize and learn to use criticism critically
• to realize literary projects - to organize readings and workshops
• To help shape interesting controversies
• To discuss theoretical and practical issues
• and finally: to spend stimulating evenings.
