The Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding in Munich's Prinzregententheater is an excellent training center for theater professions. The vision of its founder and namesake August Everding was to create a unique teaching and learning theater in which theory and practice intertwine: Here, theater is taught by performing theater!

With currently eight courses of study and three professionally equipped theaters (Prinzregententheater, Akademietheater, Akademiestudio), the Bayerische Theaterakademie August Everding is the largest training facility for stage professions in the German-speaking world. In this teaching and learning theater, theory and practice intertwine in the study courses of acting, directing for music and spoken theater/performative arts, music theater/opera singing, musicals, dramaturgy, stage design and costume design, make-up design - theater and film as well as cultural journalism.
