This year in Cologne, as always over Whitsun, we will celebrate the diversity of forms of expression in contemporary circus, dance and performance and take a creative and optimistic look at the challenges of the present. It will be poetic, thought-provoking, spectacular and political! Melissa Guex opens the festival with a powerful performance that reinterprets the collective "down" of our time. Hope is not a state, but a practice and so Julian Vogel attempts to make the impossible possible with "Ceramic Circus". At the European conference "Take Care", we are devoting ourselves to mental health and care in the circus arts. With the concert by the band "Crème Solaire", early summer calls for dancing. Up-and-coming and established artists bring international flair to Cologne and show their border crossings in special formats. Welcome to the green Rhine meadows at the CircusDanceFestival 2025!
