🎪 Come with us to the CircusDanceFestival Cologne! 🎪

Fancy a piece that fascinates, challenges and moves you at the same time? Then this event is just right for you!

As part of the Cologne CircusDanceFestival, we invite you to "What is left" - a piece that makes the beauty and brutality of our everyday struggle for attention visible. Five acrobats and dancers make a sweat-inducing mountain of bodies grow inexorably into the height of the room before your eyes - somewhere between catwalk, parade and passive voyeurism. Approachable and yet uncanny. Authentic and yet strategic. A mirror you won't forget in a hurry.

The piece was awarded the Cologne Dance Prize in 2023 - and anyone who has seen it once knows why.

And the best thing is: you won't just be let in - we'll welcome you personally, hand you your goodie bag and give you a brief introduction to the festival and the piece. So you'll be well prepared for this special evening.

Procedure

• 18:00 - Personal welcome with handover of the goodie bag & short introduction to the festival and the play
• 19:00 - Performance of "What is left" by the company Overhead Project at Schauspiel Köln

The event is exclusively for our community. Lotteries will be held for 5x2 tickets and a goodie bag each.

🎡 A bout the CircusDanceFestival - "Come Closer"

Under the motto "Come Closer", the Cologne CircusDanceFestival from May 16 to 31, 2026 celebrates being in the middle of it all - and the interaction between audience and performers. With 50 events and 38 productions from ten countries, 2026 is the largest festival edition to date. On the green festival grounds on the Rhine in Cologne's Latibul, you can expect unique spring flair, international artists, open-air stages, workshops, DJ sets and much more.
