Jazzfest Berlin

Jazzfest Berlin designs a festival program full of creative border crossings and collective visions around style-defining icons of jazz as well as young positions from a wide variety of styles.

Founded as Berliner Jazztage in 1964, Jazzfest Berlin is one of Europe's oldest and most renowned festivals of its kind. In 2024, Jazzfest Berlin will be 60 years old - and is still digging. 60 years of Jazzfest Berlin is 60 years of contemporary history, Berlin history, European, transatlantic and intercontinental history and, of course, 60 years of music history.
