Jazzwoche Berlin #5: About Spaces

This year, the fifth edition of Jazzwoche Berlin has set itself the task of celebrating jazz in Berlin with all its facets and showcasing the diversity of Berlin's jazz and improv scene.

This year we are looking more intensively at the question of spaces: taking space, having space, opening up new spaces and maintaining existing spaces, both physical and ideal, creative ones. These different aspects of space will be explored in our various formats such as discourse events and podcasts, stimulating new discourses and actions.
In Jazzwoche Berlin #5 we highlight the diverse program of the different clubs and series in Berlin for one week. The clubs and organizers in Berlin curate themselves during this week. Similar to a large, independent curatorial collective of the jazz city of Berlin, they will present their unique program in the most diverse locations during this week.
