According to the Latin word 'ambulare', a visit to the KulturAmbulanz is a stimulating walk through places that offer you art and culture as healing from the everyday. The KulturAmbulanz sees itself as a place of learning, remembrance and culture, as a place to pause and listen, but also as a place where you can joyfully discuss and debate. In its program, the KulturAmbulanz links topics and issues at the interfaces of health/illness, education and culture. It brings together citizens, cultural workers and scientists in one place, so that an exchange can take place across borders.

In terms of size, diversity and concept, the KulturAmbulanz is unique in Germany as a cultural institution within a hospital group.

It is supported by the Förderverein Haus im Park e.V. and its associated advisory board.
