kunst im carrée has been taking place in Cologne-Sülz/Klettenberg since 2002. Every year in the fall, the art mile presents around 70-80 artists from Cologne and the surrounding area at exhibition venues in the district, such as stores, medical practices, institutions and galleries. The shop windows are transformed into gallery windows for a period of 2 weeks.

The opening day is usually a Sunday when shops are open.
Every year, a colorful potpourri of exhibitions, performances, children's art workshops, art and design markets, open-air exhibitions, an open-air cultural stage with music and literature, choir and organ concerts and readings is planned to ensure that there is something for young and old, big and small.
The artists will be showing works based on a new theme each year and prizes will be awarded for the best realization.
