The “Mädchen an den Ball” project is a free, regularly scheduled soccer program for girls in Munich, Augsburg, Bochum, Dortmund, Chemnitz, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Hamburg, Nuremberg, and Karlsruhe.
The goal of the project is to create low-barrier, community-oriented programs exclusively for girls. Competitions are secondary in this project. Rather, the focus is on sharing the fun and joy of playing soccer and strengthening communication and interaction among the girls.
Through sports, the girls’ personalities are strengthened, and they learn and develop teamwork skills, a willingness to integrate, and a sense of responsibility.
