Oikocredit Förderkreis Baden-Württemberg e.V. is a non-profit organization with currently around 7,400 members. In various formats, such as lectures, walks and workshops, the full-time and volunteer staff raise awareness of ecological and fair business practices in the spirit of global learning. They share the vision of the international cooperative Oikocredit(www.oikocredit.de), which is committed to a fair global community through financing in the Global South, among other things.

The topics covered range from fair trade to the empowerment of women, inclusive finance, sustainable agriculture, the expansion of renewable energies and the coffee and cocoa value chain. The speakers shed light on economic and social contexts and backgrounds in countries of the Global South.
