The IMAI Foundation is dedicated to the archiving, distribution, preservation and mediation of video art. Our archive comprises around 3,000 artistically and documentarily valuable works that provide a broad overview of the development of video art: from its pioneering period in the 1960s to the present day. It is important to us to promote video artists and their audiovisual works and to anchor them in the public perception in the long term.
