The PhotoBookMuseum is celebrating the heyday of Cologne's photo studios with a major 'street show'. Körnerstraße becomes a portrait trail: full of encounters - in the here, from yesterday, in the now!

For everyone. Free of charge. For one month.

Outdoor show: 24 hours a day. Indoor shows: Friday - Sunday from 2 - 8 pm.

STUDIO COLOGNE
People of the 19th century
STUDIO COLOGNE turns the page on a completely unseen chapter of the city's culture of representation and images: photographic portraits taken in the numerous photo studios in Cologne between 1861 and 1928. They show Cologne residents and in their entirety convey a picture of the "people of the 19th century".

The exhibition
The exhibition extends along the entire length of Körnerstrasse in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. The street is known both for its neighborhood involvement and its charming stores. More than 180 Cologne photo studios will be presented on designed panels along the facades of the buildings and selected motifs will be applied up to the size of the buildings. The outdoor trail is flanked by satellite exhibitions.
