Ten years, ten festivals, countless stories: in 2025, we are celebrating the 10th Turkish-German Theater Festival in Berlin! From 4 to 21 December, Theater28 will present a diverse program of guest performances, in-house productions and collaborations from Germany and Turkey for eleven days.since its foundation, Theater28 has developed into an important bridge between cultures. Our festival brings together artists from both countries and creates spaces for exchange, encounters and shared experiences. It is always about more than "just" theater: it is about inclusion, interculturality and integration. The festival program features big names in Turkish theater, but also young voices that dare to explore new forms and narrative styles. Socio-political themes, poetic experiments and touching stories are presented side by side. The plays are performed in Turkish and translated into German with surtitles - opening the doors to a diverse audience.ten years of the festival also means ten years of shared experiences, courageous perspectives and celebrating together. In 2025, we look back - and forward: to a future in which theater transcends borders and opens up new horizons. The festival is supported by the Ministry of Culture, the Embassy and the Consulate General of the Republic of Turkey in Berlin.
