Anda Morts

"I think it's important to be authentic and not an asshole," says musician Anda Morts, who comes from Linz and is an indie-punker with no artificial attitude. Through his songs, the 25-year-old gives his audience a sense of his state of mind. In his mid-twenties, he often questions the things around him. He is characterized by feeling trapped, sometimes a bit uninspired, angry, or really disillusioned and of course sometimes just not in the mood.

With his raspy voice and simple lyrics, the young artist talks about looking at the hustle and bustle of the city, thinking about nothing and not understanding the world. Anda Morts sings about quarter-life crises, transience and hangovers. But amidst all the disorientation of everyday life, there are sometimes flashes of light-heartedness and warmth. The honesty of his songs will surely resonate with many. Who doesn't know the feeling of anger at oneself, at others, at life? Anda Morts always puts the assessment of his mid-twenties inner life directly on paper in a small book. He plays the guitar, sings what's going through his head - and the words find themselves. The musician draws most of his inspiration from punk rock. The genre that brought him to music. He started playing drums at the age of 11. His fascination with punk began around two years later. Another two years passed before he formed his first band at the age of 15. During this time, the young artist also learns to play the guitar, although the broken instrument only has three strings. It was soon replaced by a cheap but intact acoustic guitar and he began to write and sing himself. "I thought music was for everyone, punk rock riffs are easy, I can do that too". As Anda Morts, he has been releasing his own songs since 2022 and now shares the label with his colleague Salò. Anda Morts is coming to Germany and Austria on his tour in April to bring his indie punk mentality to the stage.
