Ensemble Integral

In the artist's words:

Founded in Cologne in 2001 as "Theater 61", Ensemble Integral emerged from a multinational group of artists. Initially described by the press as "theater with migrants" or "theater with emigrants and foreigners", our debut production of Sam Shepard's "Liebestoll" presented an extremely diverse cast/crew from different nations by the standards of the time. Through perseverance and artistic vision, Ensemble Integral has evolved from a group that challenges preconceptions into a vibrant, intercultural theater ensemble that enriches the cultural landscape with stories that transcend spatial, temporal and cultural boundaries. Our repertoire includes a colorful canon of productions that reflect our intercultural approach and global perspective.
