In the artist's words:

Here is some more information about me. I am Miriam from Sweden. My roots are in Norway, my mother and father moved from Norway to Sweden before I was born and gave birth to me there.

My childhood was a dream, we grew up in a small community north of Stockholm in the middle of the forest, so to speak. It was not unusual to come across a moose, bear, fox or wolf. In the summer, we played in the woods, swam in the many lakes or visited our family in Norway. This time had a huge impact on me.

I went to a forest kindergarten and later to a Waldorf school. In addition to the usual subjects, we learned things like wood and metalworking, pottery and how to work with fabrics and wool. Every week we went out into nature to explore. Every year, we went on a tour of the local rivers and lakes in our self-built canoes. We slept in tents for a week and ate the provisions we had brought with us.

As a teenager, I moved to Stockholm where I did my A-levels before moving to Germany. I've been here since 2009 and now live in Cologne. I am an interior designer with a very strong inclination towards design, which means that I feel very comfortable working with colors, moods, shapes, materials, etc.

In 2021 our daughter was born, our greatest happiness. I designed and built the first mobile for her, which I really loved. This was followed by requests from family and friends. The response was great and so I decided to start a small personal business and focus on the things that I really love.

And here we are today. I look forward to being able to offer you my products and wish you bright children's eyes when you unpack them.
