Heidi Pfohl

In the artist's words:

Heidi Pfohl is a photographer, media artist and editor. After training as a photographer, she studied at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne, where she now works in the art and media studies department, following stints at the universities of Hildesheim and Bonn. In her artistic practice, she deals with constellations of institutional spaces and their transformation processes and is particularly interested in the theoretical history of photography. She has been supporting the Photoszene as an editor since 2021 and is planning the Artist Meets Archive symposium, among other things.
