Martin Furmann

Martin Furmann is a jazz and live musician who is active as a bassist and regularly performs in various formations - especially in the field of modern jazz, groove and crossover projects. In the regional scene in the Ruhr area and beyond, he is known as an accomplished accompanist and ensemble musician who plays in concert series such as GEjazzt as well as in changing band constellations.

His focus is on the electric bass/contrabass in combination with vocals, piano trios or quartets, whereby he moves stylistically between classical jazz, soul influences and improvised music.
