In the artist's words:

It was a key experience, the multi-week hike in the Scottish Highlands. Rebecca Gischel realized that her life needed a change. She quit her job in the IT industry and has since devoted herself intensively to art. How can essential existential experiences that cannot be captured in words be depicted? How can the invisible become visible?

Born in Moosburg in 1989, she has lived and worked in Munich since 2015. Her abstract art and interactive installations are gaining increasing recognition and are exhibited internationally, including at renowned art festivals such as Ars Electronica in Austria and Light Aurora in the USA.
