In the artist's words:

ShoppingVenture surprises.
ShoppingVenture is absurd.
ShoppingVenture positions itself clearly.
ShoppingVenture is the New German Urgency.

That means:
Indie rock with a touch of punk, brought to the stage with ease.
Simply going over the top, no false irony, pure joy in the music - and 100% serious.

The compositions, with their unusual lyrics and crazy musical ideas, always sparkle:
When "the cow sets the farm on fire" and the next moment the band and audience are dancing "Samba on Mars" together, you just dive in. By the time the fishy "Koi Boys" come on, everyone has sunk deep into the ShoppingVenture cosmos and doesn't want to return to the surface any time soon.

The direction? To the front! Go through the middle and change what you don't like. And if it doesn't work, well, you've tried.
The four musicians always manage to reinvent each other and take concepts further. Ideas are reorganized, rearranged, thrown overboard, and in the end an impressive live show emerges that is bursting with surprises.

What happened? What happened?

The four young musicians have already made a name for themselves in the Cologne music scene in their first year of work. In May 2023, they played their first public concert as part of the SPH-Music Masters competition. After several gigs, a year later they played in the Germany-wide final at the Kantine in Cologne in front of an audience of 600.
Various self-organized concerts (e.g. with The Red Flags), support in local venues (e.g. Sonic Ballroom) and their first festival experience (Rhein-Rock NOpenAir) always convinced the audience.

On 20.2.2025 their debut album will be released under the name "Mensch zuerst".

The singles "Koi Boy", "Samba auf dem Mars" and "Überfluss" have already been released.
