The Silk Rabbits play their very own versions of a cultivated selection of songs from punk to indie pop. Because it's better to interpret good songs than to write bad ones yourself.

The Silk Rabbits present their very own versions of a well-kept selection of songs that were made famous for them by David Bowie, Buffalo Tom, Buzzcocks, Clash, Foo Fighters, Hüsker Dü, Joe Jackson, Radiohead, Stiff Little Fingers, The Undertones, U2 and many more. Even King Elvis was of the wise opinion that it is better to interpret good songs by others than to write worse ones yourself.

The Silk Rabbits are Ralf Böbbis, Uli Großmaas, Jürgen Imgrund, Andy Lindenau and Ralf Plaschke. The five seasoned veterans have been playing together since 2006. In the years before that, they gained plenty of band and stage experience, including with Christian Hound, Les Nie Mehr Trinken, Mir2sinn3, Natty U, R.A.F.Gier, Rose Croix, Silent Rite, Submentals and Twelve or 13, so their musical past has roughly the same range as their current song selection.
