STICKY FRAGMENTS

In the artist's words:

"STICKY FRAGMENTS - In good Company" is a transdisciplinary physical theater group based in the Ruhr area. The team, consisting of Meret König, Valentin Schwerdfeger and Charlie Wyrsch, is in good company with collaborators from various disciplines, depending on the project.

"STICKY FRAGMENTS" can be found at sticky interfaces: between physical theater and visual arts, digitality and devising, performance and rehearsal, research and laughter.
The works are always created by their own authors and combine intensive artistic research with playfulness and humor. In terms of content, the company always sticks to queer-feminist and anti-capitalist themes and tries to dream up new futures.

Open in artistic format, the "STICKY FRAGMENTS" have developed three pieces together since 2021: the installative shop window performance "Wenn wir Glück haben, dann löst es uns ganz auf" and the physical theater pieces "Choking on Stardust" and "try to catch a falling knife". The works have so far been shown at the ZeitzeugFestival Bochum, LOCH Wuppertal, Folkwang Museum Essen, Pina Bausch Theater and Maschinenhaus Essen.
