Zartmann is one of the most exciting new voices in German music - an artist who effortlessly combines rap, singing and intimate observations of everyday life. With his hit "wie du manchmal fehlst" feat. Ski Aggu he reached number 6 in the German charts and won the 1LIVE Krone for the best alternative song. Since then, he has been telling Berlin city stories in everyday language, striking a nerve with his emotional directness that goes far beyond genre boundaries.

His EP "dafür bin ich frei" (June 2024) was a surprise success: 140 million streams and 10th place in the German charts made it his definitive breakthrough. The next highlight followed at the beginning of 2025 with "Tau mich auf": the song reached number 1 in the German singles charts and became Zartmann's first number one hit.

With the "Schönhauser EP" (April 2025), he finally achieved his biggest release success to date: the project went straight to number 1 in the German album charts. Musically, he expanded his signature style to include spoken word passages, indie elements and a newly formulated melancholy. He is supported on the EP by Max Raabe and Gustav(01099), whose contributions suitably round off the mood of the project.
