Munich offers a variety of beautiful swimming lakes that are perfect destinations for hot summer days. Whether you prefer a large lake like Lake Starnberg or a family-friendly spot like Lake Feringa, you will find the ideal place to cool off and relax in and around Munich. Lake Riemer See in the east of Munich, part of the former Federal Garden Show grounds, is also a good place to cool off. Of course, the streams in the English Garden are classics, which not only cool you down but are also a lot of fun - but be careful, it can be dangerous, especially near the Eisbach waves, so always be careful when swimming!
