10. Bremer Lastenradrennen / 4. United Cargobike Race

In the organizer's words:

On 20 June 2026, the 10th Bremen cargo bike race, organized by BIKE IT! Bremen, for the fourth time in cooperation with United Cargobike.

On a closed-off circuit across the Überseeinsel, the challenging race route not only leads through the alleys, halls and passageways of this exciting place, but is also peppered with transport challenges, fun obstacles and chicanes. There are different classifications for men, women and mixed relay teams, with and without a motor - skill, balance and the fun of riding a cargo bike are key. In a family race, it's not just about speed for young and old, but also about having fun with fast games, good teamwork and balancing acts.

All you need to take part is a desire to have fun on a cargo bike and some expertise on the handlebars and in stowing the load on your own cargo bike. Racing experience or particularly thick calves are not necessary.

Start in several categories? No problem!

Food & drinks will be provided, and a small expo will showcase technology and other cargo bike-related items. At the same time, the finish of the Bremen555Gravel Bikepacking Adventure will take place in the same area, with participants rolling across the finish line throughout the day with around 600 gravel kilometers in their legs. And at the end of the race day, trophies and prizes will not only go to the fastest riders: a raffle will hold a lottery with further prizes for all participants.
