In the organizer's words:

Dear art lovers,

For three days, the Michael Horbach Foundation in Cologne's Südstadt district will be transformed into a lively meeting place for contemporary art, creative encounters and multi-sensory experiences.

From June 19 to 21, 2026, the 1000freund Gallery x Farina 1709 will present selected national and international artists with works of painting, graphic design, sculpture, tattoo art, 3D printed art, digital art, live performances and other interdisciplinary art forms.

In addition to the exhibition, a diverse supporting program awaits you with live paintings, musical performances, special sponsor presentations and other exclusive specials and surprises throughout the weekend.

A special highlight of the exhibition will be created in cooperation with the traditional fragrance house Farina 1709: all participating artists will develop an olfactory reinterpretation of one of their works as part of an exclusive fragrance workshop. Visual art becomes a sensual experience. Selected works are not only made visible, but can also be smelled.

On almost 700 square meters of exhibition space, a cross-generational art experience is created that combines classical and modern forms of expression and opens up new perspectives on contemporary art.

On Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, we will charge an admission fee of €5.00 on site. Free admission on Sunday, June 21.
