Simple language: people read poems and texts aloud.

Summer is just around the corner and the next literary border-crossing event is taking place in Marburg. On June 16, 2026, poets will compete against each other for the 148th time at the KFZ in Marburg between punchlines and poetry, rage speech and wordplay. With nothing but their texts and a maximum of 6/7 minutes. No props, just language, voice and the audience, which ultimately decides who wins the evening.

Stella Jantosca and Tobias Beitzl lead the evening - with charm, speed and a sure instinct for the quiet and loud nuances. Together they will guide you through an evening that is as unpredictable as life itself: sometimes funny, sometimes touching, sometimes uncomfortable - but definitely not boring.

Whether old slam hands or fresh voices: The 148th Marburg Poetry Slam will make the stage shake and the audience listen, laugh and think.
