Summer is getting serious - and so is Marburg: on July 14, 2026, the Marburg Poetry Slam moves the stage outside. For the 149th time, people will be rhyming, rapping, whispering and shouting in the open air in the courtyard of the KFZ Marburg. Between balmy nights and flickering fairy lights, words meet the warm summer air. Poets bring their best texts with them - six minutes, no props, just them, the microphone and an audience. Every sentence carries on, every laugh lingers a little longer. Stella Jantosca and Tobias Beitzl will guide you through this open-air evening with their usual wit and a fine sense of timing - somewhere between moderating and cheering, between announcing and winking.
