One of the last insider tips for book lovers in Munich: The summer LISAR brings people, stories and special finds together on the Isar. In 2026 we celebrate 15 years of book joy.

The Summer LISAR 2026 marks the start of the best time to browse, browse and discover: On Saturday, June 13, 2026, the LISAR book flea market invites all book lovers to the Isar.

What once started small is still considered one of the last real insider tips on the Munich cultural scene: a loving book flea market with a special LISAR flair, personal encounters and many literary treasures waiting to be discovered.

LISAR has been bringing people who love books together since 2011. Whether novels, non-fiction, children's literature or special finds: Books find a new home here and visitors often find exactly the book they weren't looking for. There will also be a special occasion to celebrate in 2026: LISAR will be 15 years old.

Notes:

If the weather does not cooperate on June 13, the book flea market will be postponed to Saturday, June 20, 2026.

If you would like to sell your own books, you do not need to register, it is best to read the rules beforehand and simply come along with a table and books and follow the instructions of the LISAR team (see website for stall fees).
